Whereas our paper shredding services are the ideal option for those who desire numerous documents to be removed. (Add about having too much for home shredding and can break the machine)
We recycle waste where we can
As a sustainable company, we recycle 100% of paper and cards. Any other components we collect are recycled where possible and computer equipment without data is often resold in the UK or sent to our partner to be reused in other countries.
How does the home shredding collection process work?
We offer a professional and prompt collection of confidential waste so personal paperwork and documents aren’t left sitting around for weeks. You can also choose between regular, ad hoc or one-off collections according to your needs.
You’ll start by loading your documents into the bags or boxes we supply – we’re always happy to send sacks or drop them off. You won’t need to pay upfront and you’ll only pay for the number of sacks you use.
Thankfully, you don’t need to worry about removing paper clips (which can be time-consuming, to say the least). Our partner company’s industrial shredders can effectively destroy staples, metal clips, and plastic wallets alongside your paper waste.
If you need computer tapes, discs, hard drives, laptops or PC towers confidentially destroyed, you’ll need to put them in a separate bag or box from any papers or cardboard. You will then receive an initial waste transfer note upon collection as required by the Environment Agency.
Then, we’ll organise a suitable and convenient time to collect your bags. After your documents have arrived at our state-of-the-art storage site, your waste will be securely kept in cages until it’s shredded on-site to British industry standards BS EN15713.
Finally, we’ll then issue you with your certificate of secure destruction.
